The vacation in Myrtle Beach was great! It was really all I was hoping for. I love that we are now only 3-4 hours away from the beach (we used to have to drive 6+ hours to San Diego), and we picked the best week to be there; just after the craziness of Bike Week and a week before most of the schools had let out for the summer.

Very cool hotel… great beach… plenty to do near by. Beat that!

It was an odd adjustment in that our oldest kiddo is away in Ireland this summer; our first vacation without her. As my kids both get older these times together mean so much to me. We’ve never been to Hawaii or on a fancy cruise, but I wouldn’t trade or times at the beach for anything.
